Flatbread, yum!

Welcome to Flatbread! This is our favorite pizza place and I think you can see why. The pizza is baked in a wood fired oven! And it's absolutely delicious! I've never been one much for a very thick dough and as you can tell by the name, this dough is flat and a bit crunchy from the oven. Yum! They have many different types you can order but our favorite is the Mopsy which includes kalua pork, pineapple, onions and has a sweet BBQ sauce under the cheese. (I pick off the pork -I'm not much of a meat eater, but we order it for the hubby). I can honestly say that this pizza is delectable and we usually order a large so we can take some home with us, but often end up eating it all before we leave. :)

Mmm... I think that's how I'm going to start every comment here. :) I adore thin crust pizza (yes, people in Chicago hated me) and fortunately they make it this way here too. Our sauce leaves something to be desired, but they do have Hawaiian, which is what we always get. Now I want gourmet pizza!

LOL - Sounds like a wonderful way to start each comment!

I heart thin crust, although I have never officially tried Chicago style pizza. I've had BJ's Pizza in California, but I'm told it's nowhere close to the real thing. However, it would be pretty hard to steer me away from my thin crust...

It's too much sauce and goop for my taste. One slice fills you up and that just seems so wrong.

Word ver: ovelabb. We're cooking in the oven lab, lol.
